Critically Endangered; Amur Leopard |
Hello All,
Here is my latest piece. It is done with 100% Colored Pencil on Suede Mat Board.
This magnificent animal is one of the top ten "Critically Endangered" animals. This is an Amur Leopard. It is said that there are only 40-60 left in the wild. It's such a shame that there are so few left in the wild.
If you have any questions or comments let me know. Don't forget..... Keep Scribbling!!

Here's Lookin' At Ya! |
Hi All,
I am absolutely thrilled to hear that my Ostrich will participate in a Gallery tour by Artists for Conservation!
The title of the tour is "Artists for Conservation: Saving nature one stroke at a time". This is a huge honor and the tour will start at the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation in Florida.
To see some of the details about the Guy Harvey show, click on this link: http://www.power2give.org/Broward/Project/Detail?projectId=2744
About This Project: Bringing Artists for Conservation to Broward County in May is an opportunity for us to share our passion for art AND our environment. With budgets for art education suffering, and critical environmental and natural resources under stress, we need Artists for Conservation to bolster our region's commitment to both art and the environment. It is truly art with a purpose, art for a cause.
Right now I am definitely doing a happy dance!!!! Don't forget, Keep Scribbling!!

The Calling, third place |
I am thrilled to say that my photographs have been accepted in the Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center, annual photography contest. My Coyote, titled "The Calling", received third place and my cougar and fox made it in the finales. I entered four but only three made the finals.
This fox and the cougar made the finals and the following photo of the bobcat kittens did not make the finals.
Photography is another one of my passions so I thought I would share them with you.
