Critically Endangered; Amur Leopard

Critically Endangered; Amur Leopard

Hello All,

Here is my latest piece.  It is done with 100% Colored Pencil on Suede Mat Board.

This magnificent animal is one of the top ten "Critically Endangered" animals.  This is an Amur Leopard.  It is said that there are only 40-60 left in the wild.  It's such a shame that there are so few left in the wild.

If you have any questions or comments let me know.  Don't forget..... Keep Scribbling!!

Hello Everyone!

I am thrilled to find out that my lion cub, titled "Hear Me Roar" was accepted in the 22nd Annual International Exhibition of the Colored Pencil Society of America!   This piece is done with 100% colored pencil on white Pastelbord.

Typically there are hundreds of pieces entered in this show and usually only about one hundred and twenty or so, are accepted.  To be selected for this exhibition is quite an honor.  This will be the seventh time I have been accepted, only 3 more times after this to receive my 10 year merit award.  I am definitely doing the happy dance!

About This Project:  Bringing Artists for Conservation to Broward County in May is an opportunity for us to share our passion for art AND our environment. With budgets for art education suffering, and critical environmental and natural resources under stress, we need Artists for Conservation to bolster our region's commitment to both art and the environment.  It is truly art with a purpose, art for a cause.

Right now I am definitely doing a happy dance!!!!  Don't forget, Keep Scribbling!!

The Colored Pencil Cruise, at the end of March, has a few spots left so don't miss out on this one, it's always so much fun on these CP cruises!

In Livermore, CA, in April, we'll be creating this beautiful cat to the left!

We only have four spots left at the "Total Wildlife Workshop" in Montana!  This is such a great opportunity for all of you wildlife artists! Where else can you take lots and lots of photos of wildlife and attend a colored pencil workshop at the same time?
