Pride and Glory

Hi All,

I  just finished a new scratch board piece.  This piece was done on Ampersand's Scratch Board and then colorized with Derwent's Inktense Colored Pencils.

I really enjoyed doing this piece, I find the scratching so relaxing.

Title:  Pride and Glory
Size:  11" X 14"
Medium:  Scratch board and Watercolor Pencils

Don't forget to Keep Scribbling!

  1. Hi Gemma!! I did not know you have started doing scratch art too. How do you like it? I think it's a natural for animal subjects and I love it! I especially love doing the eyes and nose. So glad yo see you getting into it too. This piece is lovely. And I love that you colored it as well. Very nice job!

Also, congrats on all the great things that have been happening to you lately!! A book, an online class, awards, how wonderful! Couldn't happen to a nicer person. :)

    1. Oh my goodness.... I am so sorry I missed this comment! I just realized I had it. Yes, I am just getting started in Scratchbord, I just love it. I just finished this one and I'm now working (part time) on a new one of a couple of young raccoons. Frankly I really don't like this image, my scanner did a really bad job of scanning it. It looks so much better in person. I just got it professionally photographed so will be posting that image soon.

      Thanks!!
